Purchasing & Prints

What print sizes are available?

Fine art prints are available in multiple sizes ranging from intimate 11x14 inch prints perfect for home collections to grand 40x60 inch gallery pieces suitable for corporate installations. Standard sizes include 11x14, 16x20, 20x24, 24x30, 30x40, and 40x60 inches. Custom sizes are also available upon request to meet specific design requirements.

How long do prints last?

All prints are created using archival materials and professional printing techniques that ensure longevity and color stability for over 100 years when properly displayed and stored. Pigment-based inks resist fading, and premium archival papers maintain their quality over time, making these investment-grade pieces suitable for serious collectors and interior design professionals.

What's included with my purchase?

Each print purchase includes the museum-quality photograph on your selected print medium (ImageTech Photo Gloss paper, ChromaLuxe® Metal Print, or Lumachrome HD TruLife® Acrylic), a certificate of authenticity, detailed care instructions, and professional packaging for safe delivery. Limited edition prints include edition numbering for investment tracking.

Do you offer custom framing?

Yes, professional custom framing and matting services are available to complement any interior design aesthetic. Frame options include museum-quality materials with UV-protective glazing. Matting choices include acid-free museum board in various colors. Framing can be coordinated with installation teams for large-scale pieces.

Are these limited edition prints?

Yes, many prints are offered as limited editions to maintain exclusivity and investment value. Edition sizes typically range from 25 to 100 prints depending on the image. Each limited edition print is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity documenting its place in the edition.

Print Quality & Materials

What printing process do you use?

Prints are produced using professional printing techniques with premium materials. Each print undergoes individual quality inspection and color calibration to ensure accurate reproduction of the original large format film capture. Professional color management guarantees consistency across all print sizes and media types.

What print media options are available?

Three premium print media options are available: ImageTech Photo Gloss paper (requires matting and framing), ChromaLuxe® Metal Prints for vibrant color and durability, and Lumachrome HD TruLife® Acrylic for maximum color depth and modern presentation. Each medium offers unique aesthetic qualities suitable for different display environments.

How do large format film prints compare to digital?

Large format 4x5 inch film provides 13 times the surface area of 35mm formats, resulting in extraordinary detail and tonal gradation. The increased resolution allows for large-scale reproductions that maintain sharp detail and smooth color transitions essential for museum-quality fine art. Film's organic grain structure adds character impossible to replicate digitally.

Can I see a print before purchasing?

Physical viewing appointments can be arranged for local clients in the Phoenix area. High-resolution digital previews are available for all prints, though these cannot fully represent the quality and presence of the actual prints. For corporate clients considering multiple purchases, consultation meetings can be scheduled to review print samples and discuss installation requirements.

Shipping & Delivery

How are prints shipped?

All prints are professionally packaged using acid-free materials and rigid backing to prevent bending or damage during transit. Prints are shipped flat in reinforced packaging via FedEx or UPS with tracking and insurance. Large prints over 30 inches may require freight shipping for maximum protection. International shipping is available with appropriate customs documentation.

What is your shipping policy?

Shipping costs vary by size and destination. Domestic shipping typically ranges from $25-75 for standard sizes, with larger pieces requiring specialized packaging and freight shipping. Processing time is 3-5 business days for standard sizes, 7-10 days for custom sizes. International shipping available with additional time and costs for customs clearance.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, international shipping is available worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by destination. All shipments include proper customs documentation and declared value. International customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes imposed by their country. Delivery confirmation and insurance are included for all international shipments.

What if my print arrives damaged?

All shipments are fully insured and professionally packaged to prevent damage. In the rare event of shipping damage, contact us immediately with photos of the damage and packaging. We will file an insurance claim and arrange for a replacement print at no additional cost. Customer satisfaction and print quality are our top priorities.

Photography & Care

What equipment do you use for large format photography?

Photography is captured using professional 4x5 inch large format view cameras, primarily Arca-Swiss systems. Large format lenses from manufacturers like Schneider, Rodenstock, and Nikkor provide exceptional optical quality. Professional Velvia and other transparency films are used for optimal color saturation and fine grain structure. Precise exposure metering and careful field techniques ensure optimal image quality.

Where are these photographs taken?

The collection features locations throughout the American Southwest, including Arizona desert landscapes, Utah national parks (Zion, Arches, Bryce Canyon), California wilderness areas (Death Valley, Yosemite, Joshua Tree), and Colorado high country. Each location is carefully scouted and visited during optimal lighting conditions to capture the essence of these remarkable landscapes.

How should I display and care for my print?

Display prints away from direct sunlight and high-humidity areas. Proper framing with UV-protective glazing is recommended for long-term preservation. Avoid hanging in kitchens, bathrooms, or areas with temperature fluctuations. Handle prints with clean, dry hands or cotton gloves. Professional installation is recommended for large pieces to ensure proper mounting and display.

Can I request a specific crop or aspect ratio?

Custom cropping and aspect ratios can be discussed for specific installation requirements. However, alterations to the original composition may affect the artistic integrity and investment value of the work. We recommend maintaining the photographer's intended composition when possible. Consultations are available to discuss specific needs and alternatives.
